Getting CSR Right, People, Planet & Print

In a world full of clichés and emotive sentiment around sustainability and ethics, we believe in getting down to brass tacks and talking clearly about what we actually do.
From the conception of our company, doing right by the planet and the people on it has been as important to us as to our customers. We may be a small player in the garment printing marketplace, but we believe we can still impact human rights and environmental concerns positively.
We use sustainable and safe methods across our print practices and products. Not because we have to, because it's the right thing to do.
We source our garments only from suppliers with verified ethical manufacturing standards. Our pricing is fair and transparent, no hidden markups, no exploitation in the supply chain.
Sound health and safety practices for all our staff and walk in customers. Our print environment is safe, well maintained and compliant with NSW workplace standards.
We use biological and biodegradable chemicals throughout our process, safe for waterways, flora and fauna. Our soya based cleaners produce no hazardous waste.
We recycle our water usage for screen tear down and clean off. Washout water that does enter the drain system is water, flora, fauna and aquatic safe, processed through a five stage filter system.
We are one of the only garment printing companies that physically removes chemical waste from our print warehouse and has it chemically treated off site in the Hunter Valley. No shortcuts.
We use only colourfast, long life inks cured at 180°C. Garments that last longer mean less waste, better for your budget and better for the environment.
Both Gildan and AS Colour are clearly committed to getting their Corporate Social Responsibility right, and that's a key reason we chose them as our primary garment suppliers. Click through to read the detail of their CSR commitments.
